Beauty is in music, too. In the sound of antique instruments that matured over  the years, under the hands of their skilled players. Or in the eyes of a child that is just learnig to play its first tune. Bringing an instrument back to sounding at the best of its potential is one of the most fullfilling part of my work.

 

Sound and playability matter, be it for the soloist or for a beginner that needs an instrument that will allow him to learn in the best conditions. Those moments of close collaboration between the player and the violin maker to achieve the perfect fine tuning is where it all starts to make sense.
